This is a legacy feature that is no longer available for customers who signed up for Tymeshift after July 27th, 2022.
When setting up your Shift Templates, you can also add Blockouts and Exceptions.
- Blockout: predefined days or periods when your team cannot request Time Off (for example, during the high season).
- Exception: predefined days or periods when you cannot schedule your agents (for example, bank holidays).
To Add Blockouts and Exceptions simply:
- Go to Schedule .
- Click on Shift Templates .
- Click on Add Blockout or Add Exception .
Note: once you have set your predefined blockouts or exceptions, they will be listed on the left, and you will be able to delete any of them by right-clicking on the one that you wish to delete.
