No need to worry; you'll still have access to this feature, but unfortunately, we can no longer support Slack Integration after 30th of June 2023. The good news, though, we're replacing it with new and improved features that will be even better. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us at support@tymeshift.com.
This is a legacy feature that is no longer available for customers who signed up for Tymeshift after July 27th, 2022.
With this integration, users can get information from tymeshift during their workday without needing to leave Slack. Managers can receive notifications that alert them to their agents’ work statuses , and agents can get alerts about their own activities via Slack.
All you have to do is follow below steps and wait for the next ding!
Note: to enable Slack notifications for your team you need to have admin rights both in tymeshift and permissions to install and/or approve apps in your Slack workspace.
Install and Authorize tymeshift Slack Integration
- Login to your tymeshift Web App.
- Open Admin section.
- Open Settings.
- Scroll all the way down and click on Advanced Settings.
- Under Slack Integration management, select

- In Slack, fill in the details in the installation page, where you can select in which Slack channel notifications should appear.
- Click Install.
Once authorization is complete you will see a confirmation message and under Advance Settings you'll see:
Set up notifications to Slack Channel
Once you have authorized Slack with tymeshift, you will be able to add/edit Rules to send Notifications to your Slack workspace:
- Go to Admin

- Click on Rules.
- Click on the
button.
- Fill in the Criteria.
- Select notifications to be sent to Slack by clicking
.
- Click on the
button.
Example: here is how your notifications in Slack will look like:
Note: if you have the notification rule set up with send notification to specific agents and you select multiple agents, you will get multiple notifications for that same rule. For example if you have 5 agents selected in the notification rule, you will get 5 of the same notification within the chosen Slack channel.
