We're focusing on new things
No need to worry; you'll still have access to this feature, but unfortunately, we can no longer support the Time and Attendance after 1st of June 2023. The good news, though, we're replacing it with new and improved features that will be even better. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us at support@tymeshift.com.
This is a legacy feature that is no longer available for customers who signed up for Tymeshift after July 27th, 2022.
The Time & Attendance feature generates a report for your payroll purposes, which can then be uploaded into an HR(IS)/ERP/payroll software. We currently provide CSV export which could then be integrated with ADP, Workday, Rippling (coming soon). Please keep in mind that additional 3rd party tools may be required to import data to the payroll system
Note: this feature is available with our Enterprise plan and if you'd like to start using this report, simply send us a quick note to support@tymeshift.com.
This feature will provide a CSV export of all active agents within tymeshift and will show the clock-in and clock-out times during the specified time period. If agent clocks into a General Task that has been excluded from Occupancy, we will also clock the agent out at that time and clock them back in once they clock into a Ticket/Voice/Chat or productive General Task.
You will need to enable the Time and Attendance export for those active agents whom you would like to have included in the report.
- Go to Admin .
- Click on Agent permissions.
- Select any active agent you want to have on the report and open their profile.
- Scroll down until you see Advanced Options.
- Tick the last option Include in Payroll Export.
Note: if you'll see a pop-up showing up with a message saying that you can not apply changes to the agent's permissions due to the applied Role, simply exit the pop-up message as this feature does not integrate with our Roles just yet.
To generate and export your report you'll need to go to your URL bar and edit it so it looks like this: https://yourtymeshiftdomain.tymeapp.com/payroll-report. This will download a CSV file (an example is shown in the above section) for the previous day.
If you would like to see the Time and Attendance report from previous dates, you will need to add &day_past=[Number of days] to the URL. For example, the link https://yourtymeshiftdomain.tymeapp.com/payroll-report?day_past=6 would give you a report from 6 days ago.
Note: Manually ending the day during a shift will not create a new entry in the Report as we assume that it's the same shift unless there's a 4-hour gap from the initial Start Day event. The Report will not take the first End day event into consideration as there's no 4-hour gap from the start of the shift; if the agent needs to be off for a long period of time, we suggest using a General Task (excluded from occupancy) to be sure that this is properly registered on the Report.
